Glad to see you! – PS, State Dept. of Environment, Mr. Charles Sunkuli receiving the deputy head of mission-Danish embassy, Mr. Lars Bredal.

The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources appreciates the partnership with other stakeholders and development partners, in ensuring that technologies adopted for combating the effects of climate change are clean and safe, Principal Secretary in the State Department of Environment, Mr. Charles Sunkuli has said.

Mr. Sunkuli made the remarks in his NHIF office when he received a delegation from the Royal Danish Embassy that was on a follow up mission on the Strategic Sector Cooperation Project document on Green Growth in the Manufacturing Sector in Kenya 2016-2019, a partnership between the two countries which is due for signing.

The partnership, which will be funded by the Danish government to the tune of 4,993.552 Danish kronor, will focus on the Green Economy Strategic Implementation Plan (GESIP), the National Solid Waste Management Strategy and the Green Growth Employment Programme and will have the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources and the Ministry of Industrialization, Investment and Trade, as the participating institutions.

The delegation from the Royal Danish Embassy was led by the Deputy Head of mission Mr. Lars Bredal.
