Rainfall Review

weatherSeveral parts of the country received rainfall during the past week. However the northern parts of the country continued to be mostly dry.

Kitui Meteorological Station recorded the highest seven-day total of 70.3mm.  This same station recorded the highest rainfall within one day (70.3mm on 16th April). Compared to the previous review period there was a marked decrease in rainfall amounts over most parts of the country. Figure 2 shows the spatial distribution of rainfall during the review period.
