The CS addressing faithfuls at the Kajiado ACK Church today. He urged them to take advantage of the current rains by planting more trees and conserving the environment

The cabinet Secretary for Environment and Forestry Mr. Keriako Tobiko has urged residents of Kajiado county to take advantage of the ongoing long rains to plant more trees that will help in conserving the environment.

He said that by planting more trees, the country will achieve the 10% tree cover that is prescribed by the constitution and the international standards.
Massive tree planting he observed will help moderate the climate in the face of unpredictable changes that have wreaked havoc in floods and prolonged drought.
