Zimbambwen Senator and Minister for Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Hon Prisca Mupfumira meets with CS Tobiko at the sidelines of UNEA 4 (2) (2)

Kenya and Zimbabwe are working on a memorandum of understanding to build partnerships in relation to forestry and waste management.

The MOU which will be signed in June will focus on collaboration in respect to sharing best practices in restoration and rehabilitation of forests and landscapes, urban forestry and waste management.

Environment and Forestry Cabinet Secretary KeriakoTobiko and his Zimbabwe counterpart Hon HonPriscaMupfumira (Senator) and Minister for Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry agreed on the modalities on the sidelines of the UNEA 4 held in Nairobi.

The ZimbabweMinister was accompanied by Permanent Secretary MunesuMunodawafa and Ambassador SilibazisoManyonga among other dignitaries.
