1Most parts of the country are expected to be sunny and dry throughout the forecast period.

However, light to moderate rainfall may be received over a few areas within the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, andthe Southeast Lowlands.

The Lake Victoria Basin, the Highlands West of the Rift Valley and the Central and South Rift Valley (Counties of Siaya, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Nandi, Laikipia, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma and Busia) are expected to experience mainly sunny intervals during the day and partly cloudy skies at nightfor much of the forecast period.
