HCFC Phase out Management Plan (HPMP)

PROJECT OBJECTIVES/PROJECT SITE/FUNDING AGENCY/TOTAL FUNDING/DURATION OF THE PROJECT

Project Objectives:

-          Reduction of controlled use of hydro chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) in accordance with the HCFC Phase out Management Plan (HPMP)

-          Purchase of ozone and climate friendly equipment for training activities of RAC Technicians and Customs Officers as well as other enforcement.

-          Capacity building for RAC Technicians to deal with ODS and Customs Officers to effectively enforce ODS Regulations

-          Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) Training Institutions

 Funding Agency:

-          France with GIZ as implementing agency

Total Funding:

-          US $ 1,763,850

 Duration:

13 Years (December 2017 – January 2030)
